historic buildings

Yesterday you mentioned the idea of looking at some historic buildings near Sheffield that might be possible as venues for an event. I think this is a lovely idea and I'll begin to assemble some possibilities. I'll probably do this in dribs and drabs, if that's OK. Every time I post a new URL, I'll repost all the old ones with it, so that the list grows cumulatively and you don't have to go back through the blog if you want to compare them.
